Karol Olejniczak Ph.D., is an assistant professor at EUROREG - University of Warsaw, Poland and a visiting scholar at the George Washington University, Washington D.C. Since 2008 Karol is the head of the Academy of Evaluation, a study program for Polish civil servants. His research interests focuses on evaluation of public interventions, knowledge management in the public sector and recently, behavioral public interventions. He is an author of number of publications on regional policy, methodology of evaluation and organizational learning. He has been conducting number of evaluations and policy analyses for Polish institutions and European Commission.
In 2014, Karol received the title of Evaluation Leader of Poland, an award granted by the Polish government on the 10th anniversary of Polish membership in the European Union. In 2016 he has received The University of Warsaw Award for Excellence in Teaching Social Science.
